Aravaipa Auditorium

As the largest function space (450 seats) on the Polytechnic campus, the Aravaipa Auditorium had not been operational since 1997. Designed with the patron in mind, renovations transformed the space completely. A new lobby and theatre procession were added along with new theater seating, projection screen and AV system. Along with a new concession area, a new control room was also added. Back-house changes were completed, adding a green room, dressing area, storage and restrooms. The design required a re-shaping of the proscenium, ceiling and side walls for acoustical concerns as well lighting and sound trap designs.
