Brooklyn Park Small Business Center

The Small Business Center project is the rehabilitation of formerly vacant commercial space located at 7970 Brooklyn Blvd N. The space will be a hub of business activity in the City including space for up to 60 non-food retail and commercial businesses to operate day-today, access to business and access technical assistance resources, and several areas to hold meetings, host events, and attend trainings.

The goal of this project is to provide and preserve flexible and accessible space for businesses to start and grow in a highly visible space near existing and future multi-modal transit options and to provide a physical location for small businesses to network and access resources available to them.

The space aims to prioritize creating a welcoming space for Black, Indigenous, and Person of Color (BIPOC)entrepreneurs and business owners. This project is a direct result of community’s desire to see affordable and flexible commercial space in a vibrant commercial corridor.
